Accomodation

SIG can help you find the most suitable housing solution, in accordance with your budget and needs. Most of the Institutions offer a range of accommodation from Hostels, Halls of Residence to Student Apartments. Living in Halls of Residence and Student Apartments is one of the best ways to get to know people when you first land in the UK. Additionally, a long list of privately owned flats and houses located near the campuses of Universities are lying with us.

On Campus Residence Hall

The Residence Hall has fully furnished double and single rooms with en-suite shower, central heating and cleaning services. The Residence Hall has kitchen facilities and laundry room. Banking facilities are available on the ground floor of the Residence Hall. Students need only to bring personal items such as pillows, sheets and a quilt.

House Apartments

House apartments are situated in quiet neighbourhoods just off the Universities/Colleges campus.  Buildings have one and two bedroom apartments designed to provide privacy and independence to students. Each apartment has its own living and dining area, kitchen and bathroom, which are fully furnished with single beds, desks, book shelves, chest of drawers, wardrobes, dining table & chairs. The kitchen is equipped with cooker, oven and refrigerator. All apartments have controlled heating and air conditioning units.

Privately owned flats and houses

If you do not want to live in university/College accommodation, you can apply to the Office of Student Affairs for listings of off-campus housing. Private accommodation can only be arranged when you are already in the UK. The cost of a furnished apartment can range from £450 – £550 per month. You will need to sign a 12-month contract and in addition to the monthly rent there will be added charges for water, electricity and telephone expenses. You can share the accommodation expenses with other students. This can be a much cheaper option for you.

SIG can help you with your accommodation prior departure, provided it is notified in writing at least 48 hours prior.
