VISA Requirements

Visa requirements for EU students:

All EU citizens may travel freely to Cyprus but are required to submit an Application to the Migration Department within 3 months of their date of entry into the Republic of Cyprus, for the Issuance of Residence Permit. SIG will assist with this procedure.

All EU students are obliged by Migration Department regulations to have health insurance coverage. This medical insurance can be arranged through our SIG Cyprus office and must be renewed with each annual registration.

Visa requirements for non-EU students:

All non-EU students require a visa to enter Cyprus. Provided that all the required documents listed below have been received, SIG will submit the student’s documents to the Migration Authorities for approval. Once approval has been received, the student can then proceed for a visa interview. Interview dates will be announced prior to the beginning of each Semester.
